Our mission is to create a safe and nuturing enviroment that allows our participants to gain farm skills while focusing on SIL experiences. Time will be set aside to unwind, recharge and thrive in a setting that accommodates their unique needs. At our program, we endeavor to redefine respite care by offering a bespoke service that prioritizes the well being and happiness of our neurodivergent trainee farmers above all else.
OUR VISION
After working in the disability sector for over 20 years, Gary and Michelle moved to SA at the start of 2023 to set up the respite program on a 6 acre property in Murray Bridge. It was our dream for some years, which has come to fruition. Gary has worked as a disability support worker and a volunteer soccer coach for a special needs club. Michelle has worked in special education with students on the autism spectrum, and as an assistant coach with Riding for the Disabled.
Together we bring a wealth of experience to their program, along with the utmost dedication to our Trainee farmers.
